Glp1 journey week 3:

By Angie Strefling August 11, 2026

This week I definitely felt more confident in my ability to actually drop a few pounds and also in being cautious of how much I drank. I was so much better about cutting down on alcohol and my stomach so graciously thanked me for that haha!!

I’ve heard some people say they don’t feel like eating anything at all and that’s when they start to lose muscle, hair etc due to the lack of vitamins. I have definitely heard the signals louder that I’m not hungry or that I’m full but I don’t feel like never eating. I definitely still have to tell my brain to listen to my stomach and body. I still have cravings for chocolate but only one day this week I gave in and I blame that one on aunt flow’s arrival!! If there’s one thing that can’t happen soon enough it’s getting rid of her ha!!

As with any week I had my challenges. Friday I got a little carried away eating for Liam’s birthday celebration and wow did Saturday morning’s bellyache let me know about it. I definitely have noticed how it making the signals of being bad to my body get stronger and that of course makes me want to eat better. It’s the obvious be good to your body and it will be good to you scenario.

I also walked more this week, somedays just by circumstance but a few days with intention which felt amazing to do! This week I did dip down to the lowest weight I’ve seen for a minute at 163. The next day it went to 164 but whatever I saw the glimmer of hope!!

I really debated whether to start a second month mainly due to money, but I feel like I’m just now starting to adjust my habits for the better and I don’t want to lose that momentum. I really think I can slay this second month with better more intentional choices and lose some more of this stubborn weight!!

As always, if you have any questions about my health journey please feel free to comment or message me. If you’re ready to get started yourself, here’s my Mochi discount (EMP7YT) because who doesn’t love to save money!!
